About me
Queen Darlene Grant has spent the past two decades aiding in transformational change in Human Services, Social Work and Education Professions through coaching, training and collaborating with leadership teams, staff professional development and direct service staff. She specializes in supporting organizations build positive outcomes for all families, children and staff including those impacted by trauma and mental health challenges. She has worked with numerous community partners, families and early childcare education centers and trained hundreds of individuals on countless rich content including but not limited to Pyramid Model, Darkness to Light, Positive Solutions for Families, Compassion Resilience, and Trauma Sensitive Schools (7EI). Darlene teaches the Family Development Credential Course, which allows employees to obtain their credential and have the opportunity to obtain nine college credits upon completion. She is an expert at helping engage staff and leadership in conversations that create excitement, engagement, and sustained change.
Darlene has held the position of Youth and Family Director for a large Milwaukee social services organization and was a Family Services and Enrollment Supervisor for Next Door Foundation. She is the Director of Childcare Partnership. Darlene Grant holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Services and Organizational Leadership and Management. She also holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from UW- Milwaukee Helen Bader School of Social Work. Before working in Education and Head Start, she worked in Child Welfare for 17+ years. Darlene’s Why is helping children, families and employees, both leaders and direct service staff, come into their full potential. Her passion lies in valuing all people while committing to a life of helping others thrive.
